- Text
- Choose colors that make the font readable.
- Usually, black text on a light color or white text on a dark color look best.
- Use words, phrases, and sentences to summarize and explain your assigned science and engineering practice.
- Don't overdo it on the amount of text you include - most people won't bother to read a poster that is mostly words.
- At the same time, don't limit the amount of words you use so much that others don't have enough information to fully understand the science and engineering practice.
- Remember to give credit to the authors of the icons you used.
- Create a narrow colored strip at the bottom of your poster to credit the authors of the icons you used.
